South Korea and France Forge Defense Space Cooperation Agreement

Paris: South Korea's arms procurement agency has announced the successful conclusion of an agreement with its French counterpart aimed at enhancing defense space capabilities.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) signed this pivotal agreement with France's procurement agency in Paris on Monday. The discussions focused on expanding bilateral cooperation in the defense space sector, highlighting the strategic importance both countries place on this domain.

The agreement outlines plans to broaden research and development initiatives and enhance intelligence sharing in the defense space sector. Furthermore, it encourages the exchange of experts, which is expected to significantly benefit both nations. DAPA emphasized that this collaboration will likely enable South Korea to strengthen its presence in the global space security network, leveraging France's advanced capabilities and extensive operational experience in the field.
