Manama: The Ministry of Social Development signed a cooperation agreement with the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) and Atyaf eSolutions to develop an integrated digital system that will support and enhance the services of civil society organisations in the Kingdom.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the agreement was signed on behalf of the Ministry of Social Development by Zeyad Darwish, Undersecretary of the Ministry; on behalf of the NBB by Hisham Abu Alfateh, Chief Corporate Communications Officer; and on behalf of Atyaf eSolutions by Ubaydli Ubaydli, Chairman of the company, which will be responsible for the technical implementation of the project in coordination with the Ministry.
Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, Minister of Social Development, emphasised that the agreement represents a practical model of integration between government entities and leading national institutions, contributing to the enhancement of the efficiency of the civil sector and enabling non-profit organisations to fulfil their social role more effectively. He also thanked NBB for its support of the project and its commitment to contributing to national development efforts through responsible and impactful partnerships.
This collaboration is supported by the NBB as part of its ongoing commitment to social responsibility and its dedication to empowering initiatives that support sustainable development pathways in the Kingdom. The project aims to develop a comprehensive digital system that enables associations and civil society organisations to benefit from the Ministry's services in a streamlined and efficient manner by automating processes, facilitating transactions, and enhancing transparency and turnaround times.
