Manama: The Ministry of Social Development and Apparel Group have formalized a partnership through a cooperation agreement aimed at benefiting people of determination in Bahrain. This agreement will provide individuals who possess a smart card featuring the People of Determination icon with exclusive offers and benefits at selected apparel outlets throughout the Kingdom.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this initiative is designed to enhance community partnerships and bolster social empowerment initiatives for various segments of society. Ziyad Adel Darwish, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development, highlighted the significance of such partnerships and the expansion of cooperation with different sectors. This move is intended to improve the quality of the Ministry's developmental services, demonstrating its commitment to social protection and care.
Neeraj Tekchandani, CEO of Apparel Group, expressed the group's dedication to social responsibility through this agreement. He emphasized that the collaboration is a testament to the group's support for national initiatives aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. Tekchandani also noted that the agreement reflects the group's vision of fostering social solidarity and contributing to community development.
