Manama: Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, Minister of Social Development, received Simon Martin CMG, Charg© d'Affaires of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Bahrain. The minister highlighted the longstanding relations between Bahrain and the United Kingdom and their continued development, particularly in social and development areas.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting reviewed topics of common interest and discussed means to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two sides in support of shared aspirations. Martin expressed appreciation for Bahrain's efforts in the social and development domains and affirmed the United Kingdom's commitment to continue enhancing cooperation and partnership between the two countries.
