SLRB Unveils Enhanced Taa’kud Service Offering Property Price Insights

Manama: As part of government efforts to enhance service quality and re-engineer public services, the Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) has launched the second version of the “Taa’kud” service, which introduces a new feature enabling users to view property prices. The addition aims to enhance transparency and provide reliable information to support decision-making in the real estate sector.

According to Bahrain News Agency, beneficiaries can access average property prices within the block in which a property is located by entering either the block number or the property number. Price indicators covering the past three years are displayed based on accurate and reliable data, enabling users to track real estate market trends and assess the actual value of a property in light of transactions involving comparable properties in the same area.

Basem bin Yaqoub Al Hamar, President of the SLRB, said that the feature represents added value to the service’s outputs, as it relies on real estate transaction data and is automatically updated. He emphasised that the indicators provided are for guidance purposes and reflect market movement during the specified periods.

He added that the service offers price indicators across various property types, including land, apartments, houses, and others, giving beneficiaries a comprehensive analytical view that supports a better understanding of market dynamics and enables informed decisions based on reliable data.

Al Hamar noted that the “Taa’kud” service continues to witness growing demand from beneficiaries due to its ability to provide instant verification of a property’s status and confirm that it is free from restrictions that may prevent its disposal. He indicated that the number of users since the service’s launch in February last year through the end of January 2026 exceeded 30,000 users.

He further stated that the service achieved a notable milestone by securing first place in the Bahrain Digital Content Award 2025 under the Smart Settlements and Urban Expansion category in July 2025. This reflects the quality of the service and its positive impact on developing the digital services ecosystem. He added that the launch of the second version aligns with the adoption of innovative digital solutions aimed at expanding the scope of data available to beneficiaries, improving access to real estate information, enhancing procedural efficiency, and raising transparency levels in the real estate market.

The SLRB President also affirmed that development efforts are ongoing, reflecting the Bureau’s commitment to keeping pace with the government’s direction to improve the efficiency and quality of all public services and to facilitate seamless procedures and service delivery. These efforts are undertaken within the framework of the Government Programme 2023-2026 and in alignment with the government performance and digital transformation pillar.

As part of ongoing government efforts to develop and re-engineer public services, more than 1,300 government services have been documented, translated, and published. Among these, 800 services have undergone development and re-engineering across various sectors, based on proposals and feedback received through the national suggestions and complaints system “Tawasul”, investor feedback, and secret shopper evaluation reports. Guidance manuals and service level agreements have also been introduced to improve procedural efficiency, enhance service quality, strengthen beneficiary experience, and support the government’s digital transformation agenda.
