Manama: The Equal Opportunities Committee at the Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) held its regular meeting, chaired by Diana Faisal Sarhan, Director General of Resources and Information Systems and Chairperson of the Committee.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting reaffirmed the SLRB's commitment to supporting initiatives that promote equal opportunities and enhance the contributions of Bahraini women across various fields. The discussion underscored the importance of fostering an inclusive environment that supports gender equality and empowerment.
The Committee also highlighted the 25th anniversary of the Supreme Council for Women, commemorated this year under the theme "25 Years at the Heart of the Reform Project." It reviewed progress under its annual plan, including the implementation of approved programmes and initiatives aimed at supporting the council's objectives.
Furthermore, the meeting addressed proposals to strengthen equal opportunities in the workplace, enhance performance, and make effective use of competencies across the Bureau. The Committee's focus remains on creating an equitable environment that leverages the talents and skills of all employees, ensuring that every member can contribute effectively to the Bureau's goals.
