Manama: On the occasion of Commemoration Day, observed annually on December 17, the Shura Council paid tribute to the fallen heroes who gave their lives in service of the nation, fulfilling their national duty with sincerity and dedication, and embodying the highest values of sacrifice in military, security, and humanitarian fields to safeguard Bahrain’s security, stability, and achievements.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Council commended the care and attention of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in preserving the memory of the fallen servicemen and honoring their families, in recognition of sacrifices that the nation will continue to cherish across generations.
The Shura Council emphasized that Commemoration Day will remain a deeply rooted national occasion in the collective conscience, and a day to express gratitude to the fallen personnel of the Bahrain Defence Force, the Ministry of Interior, and the National Guard, who carried out their duties with steadfast faith and sincere loyalty in defense of the Kingdom’s security, stability, and progress.
