Cairo: A delegation from the Shura Council, led by Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Council, will be participating in the 8th conference of the Arab Parliament and Arab parliamentary speakers, organised by the Arab Parliament in cooperation with the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU), in Egypt. The delegation includes Dr. Adel Abdulrahman Al Maawda, Deputy Chairman of the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee, and Dr. Ebtisam Mohammed Al Dallal, member of the Services Committee.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the conference will discuss draft resolutions on forming a unified Arab parliamentary position to safeguard the security, stability, and sovereignty of Arab states against external threats, as well as developments in the Palestinian territories and violations against the Palestinian people, which require a firm Arab parliamentary stance.

The conference will also consider a parliamentary vision on strengthening Arab digital sovereignty and protecting national privacy in the era of digital transformation. It is held annually by the Arab Parliament to discuss issues of common interest and adopt unified Arab parliamentary decisions and visions that support development, stability, and progress in Arab states.
