Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Shura Council Chairman, underscored that the official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the Arab Republic of Egypt has strengthened growing relations between the two countries under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Excellency Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of Egypt.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh commended the outcomes of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister's meetings with HE President El Sisi and His Excellency Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt. He noted that these meetings reflect the strategic depth of Bahrain-Egypt relations and both countries' commitment to advancing shared development goals.
Al Saleh highlighted the signing of multiple MoUs and agreements in areas such as investment, sustainable development, customs, tourism, labor, urban planning, youth, social insurance, exhibitions, heritage, competition protection, and aluminum. These agreements are seen as reinforcing bilateral cooperation and promoting economic growth.
He emphasized that Bahrain-Egypt relations are a longstanding model of partnership. Al Saleh also noted the Shura Council's keenness to strengthen parliamentary cooperation with Egypt's Senate and House of Representatives to support shared progress.
