Manama: The Shura Council affirmed its full solidarity with the State of Qatar following the Iranian attack carried out by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, describing it as a flagrant violation of Qatari airspace, international law, and the Charter of the United Nations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Council strongly condemned the attack and reaffirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain's firm and consistent position in supporting the State of Qatar. The Council expressed pride in the deep-rooted ties and longstanding relations between Bahrain, Qatar, and the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council. It stressed the need for unity and close cooperation in the face of such violations, while urging restraint, de-escalation, and the pursuit of dialogue and diplomacy to resolve differences peacefully.
