Shura Chairman Receives UAE’s Condemnation of Iranian Attacks

Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, received a message from Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC) of the United Arab Emirates, condemning the Iranian terrorist attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Ghobash stated that the attacks are a violation of Bahrain's sovereignty, security, and stability, as well as a breach of international law and principles governing international relations. He expressed confidence in Bahrain's ability to overcome these challenges under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, emphasizing the Kingdom's wisdom, resilience, and national unity.

Ghobash reiterated the UAE's strong condemnation of the attacks, noting that despite efforts by Gulf states to promote stability and peace, Iranian aggression continues. He emphasized the importance of solidarity, coordination, and preparedness among Gulf states, along with the adherence to national sovereignty principles.

He further highlighted the fraternal ties among Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states, describing them as a protective shield against threats to the region's security and stability. He wished Bahrain continued security, stability, and prosperity.

In response, Al Saleh expressed gratitude to Ghobash for the supportive message, reflecting the deep ties between Bahrain and the UAE. He described the relationship as a model of strong Gulf ties based on solidarity and mutual support.
