Shura Chairman Meets Religious Board of Muslims of Russian Federation Chairman

Moscow: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, met with Mufti Damir Mukhetdinov, First Deputy Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation and principal of the Moscow Islamic Institute, during his official visit at the invitation of Valentina Matvienko, Speaker of the Russian Federation Council. Al Saleh highlighted the role of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's leadership in promoting international tolerance and dialogue.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh expressed pride in the royal initiatives of His Majesty, which reflect Bahrain's commitment to human fraternity and unity among nations. He emphasized Bahrain's history of ensuring religious freedoms and fostering coexistence, supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Al Saleh noted Bahrain's reputation as a haven of peace and its dedication to sustainable progress through dialogue and cooperation.

He commended Bahrain's active role in hosting international conferences, such as the Intra-Islamic Dialogue Conference, to promote solidarity. Al Saleh also praised the efforts of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation in supporting Islamic principles and rejecting extremism. Mufti Mukhetdinov expressed pride in Bahrain's efforts to strengthen international ties and its commitment to religious tolerance.

The meeting underscored the strong relationship between Bahrain and Russia, highlighting their cooperation across various domains and the enduring spirit of fraternity between the two nations.
