Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, met with Stephanie Hallett, the newly appointed Ambassador of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Kareema Mohammed Al Abbasi, Secretary General of the Shura Council, attended the meeting.
According to Bahrain News Agency, during the meeting, the Chairman congratulated Ambassador Hallett on her appointment and highlighted Bahrain's commitment to supporting peace and stability, as well as the importance of strengthening regional and international security. He commended the government's efforts to expand international partnerships and praised the strategic relations and close ties between Bahrain and the United States, noting the continued growth of bilateral cooperation across various fields.
For her part, the Ambassador expressed her pride in representing her country in Bahrain, commended the Kingdom's development and progress, and affirmed her commitment to further strengthening strategic cooperation and building on the longstanding bilateral relationship.
