Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, highlighted that Bahrain's balanced foreign policy under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has strengthened its international partnerships and contributions to peace and development. The chairman commended the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for advancing diplomatic efforts and enhancing Bahrain's global engagement.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh noted the strategic vision outlined in His Royal Highness's address to the ASEAN-GCC-China Summit, emphasising Bahrain's commitment to joint initiatives in key sectors including food, energy, technology, and investment. He also underscored the Shura Council's support for Bahrain's foreign policy and its backing of the ASEAN-GCC Framework of Cooperation 2024-2028, including the launch of free trade agreement negotiations.
