Shura Chairman Engages with BTECH Leadership on ICT Initiatives.

Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, received Tareq Fakhro, the Chairman of the Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH), along with Ahmed Al Hujery, the Society's Advisor. The meeting focused on discussing BTECH's objectives, ongoing programs, projects, and its collaborative partnerships with both public and private sector institutions. According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh praised the efforts of Bahrain's public and private sectors in embracing modern technological advancements. He emphasized the importance of information and communications technology (ICT) and its role in advancing digital tools which are crucial for progress in various sectors. Al Saleh also reiterated the Council's dedication to integrating advanced systems and artificial intelligence into legislative processes, highlighting the contributions of Bahrain's youth and national experts in promoting digital literacy and awareness. Tareq Fakhro expressed gratitude to Chairman Al Saleh for his continued supp ort of BTECH's initiatives. He stressed the significance of cooperation between the Society and the Shura Council in fostering knowledge exchange within the ICT sector. Fakhro also acknowledged the Council's efforts in creating a legislative environment that supports Bahrain's technological advancements across different sectors.
