Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, received Tatjana Garcevic, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Dr. Jihad Abdullah Al Fadhel, Second Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council, and Kareema Mohammed Abdulla Al Abbasi, Secretary General of the Shura Council, were present.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh noted the ongoing development of relations between Bahrain and Serbia, supported by a shared commitment to strengthening cooperation and fostering productive partnerships. He highlighted opportunities for broader collaboration across key sectors and emphasised Bahrain's dedication to building international relations based on peace, coexistence, and mutual respect. He also underlined the importance of strengthening parliamentary ties and encouraging dialogue in regional and international forums.
On her part, Ambassador Garcevic lauded the advancement of Bahraini-Serbian relations and emphasised Serbia's commitment to further cooperation. She commended Bahrain's national development efforts and highlighted the significant role of Bahraini women in driving progress across all sectors.
