MANAMA: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, congratulated Mahmoud Dawud al Mashhadani on his election as Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives. The Speaker wished Speaker Al Mashhadani success, emphasising the interest in strengthening cooperation with the Iraqi parliament. According to Bahrain News Agency, the congratulatory message was sent as a gesture of goodwill and to express the desire for enhanced collaboration between the legislative bodies of the two nations. The message highlighted the importance of fostering strong ties and mutual understanding in parliamentary affairs.
