Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, praised His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's steadfast support for the legislative authority, highlighting His Majesty's dedication to advancing Bahrain's comprehensive development process.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh emphasized the significance of royal patronage in fortifying the legislative system, consolidating democracy, and upholding the rule of law, aligning with HM the King's vision for national progress. He remarked that His Majesty's speeches at the commencement of legislative terms serve as a guiding framework for propelling national development.
Al Saleh conveyed the Shura Council's response to HM the King's speech during the opening of the third session of the sixth legislative term, noting the robust cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities. He highlighted that the collaboration with the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, plays a crucial role in supporting national development plans and modernisation efforts.
He expressed pride in Bahrain's accomplishments under HM King Hamad's leadership and reaffirmed the Shura Council's dedication to fulfilling its legislative responsibilities in accordance with His Majesty's directives.
