Sheikh Al Mustawi: Intra-Islamic Dialogue Conference Enhances Brotherhood, Addresses Common Challenges

Manama: Sheikh Salahuddin Al Mustawi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Islamic Council in Tunisia, said that the Intra-Islamic Dialogue Conference reflects the commitment of Islamic countries to strengthening cooperation and fostering unity among various sects and intellectual movements. He noted that the conference takes place at a critical time in addressing current challenges.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Sheikh Al Mustawi highlighted that the event aims to reaffirm noble Islamic values that promote solidarity and reject division. He stressed the importance of adopting a unifying discourse rooted in constructive dialogue, free from conflicts that weaken the Islamic nation.

He emphasized that the Palestinian cause remains a central focus of the conference, underscoring that Islamic unity reinforces the collective stance in defending the rights of the Palestinian people. He called for intensified efforts to support Palestine at all levels.

Sheikh Al Mustawi expressed appreciation for the Kingdom of Bahrain's hosting of the conference, commending its role in promoting dialogue and understanding among Islamic countries. He noted that such initiatives contribute to strengthening cooperation among Muslim peoples in addressing shared challenges.
