Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Re-elected as Table Tennis Association President.

Manama: Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Bahrain Table Tennis Association, was re-elected as President of the association for the next four years. The elections took place during the association's General Assembly meeting. It was attended by representatives from the General Sports Authority (GSA), the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and member clubs. According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa received 10 votes, while her opponent, Hamad Ahmed Buhejji, received one vote. In addition to the presidential election, nine candidates competed for seats on the Board of Directors. The elected members include Jaffar Hadi Mahfoodh, Bader Saleh Shamsan, Khalid Abdullah Al Busmait, Salman Yousif Salman, Ali Abdulali Al Madeh, who each secured 11 votes, Fareed Mohammed Al Doseri with 10 votes, and Abdullah Ebrahim Faraj with nine votes. Isa Jassim Al Haddad and Mohammed Abdulwahab Bu Kamal received two and one vote, respectively.
