Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Receives Winner of New Logo Design for Quran Award

Manama: Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, in the presence of the organising committee, received Aasim Ameen Al Kooheji, who won the new logo design for the His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Quran Award. He highlighted the award's role in promoting national and Islamic values, honouring the legacy of the late His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and encouraging youth to memorise and recite the Holy Quran.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Mohammed emphasized that the award reflects the era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The award supports cultural, educational, and religious initiatives that empower future generations and consolidate national identity.

He commended Al Noor Charity Welfare Society, chaired by Shaikha Lamia bint Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, President of Al Noor Charity Welfare Society and Chairperson of the Permanent Committee for Organising the Award, for its efforts in preparing and organising the competition. He also highlighted the support of Her Highness Shaikha Lulwa bint Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, which has contributed to the award's success and continuity.

The sixth edition will be launched in October 2025, with a new Quranic Personality Award added. The annual competition attracts over 1,000 participants, with cash prizes awarded to winners in various categories.
