Abu Dhabi: Showjumper Shaikh Hassan bin Rashid Al Khalifa secured a win at the Al Shiraa Horse Show in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Shaikh Hassan bin Rashid represented Bahrain with an outstanding performance at the prestigious CSI four- and two-star Al Shiraa Horse Show.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Hassan bin Rashid achieved victory in the highly competitive 125cm speed class aboard his homebred horse, HBR Even Flow, competing against over 100 riders, including Olympians and top-100 ranked athletes. His success at the event showcased his skills and determination, further solidifying his reputation in the international show jumping arena.
Shaikh Hassan bin Rashid also secured two podium finishes and earned valuable FEI World Ranking points. On this occasion, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF), commended Shaikh Hassan bin Rashid's achievement, noting that it adds to the series of accomplishments by Bahraini show jumping on the international stage.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah attributed these successes to the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, in promoting equestrian sports in the Kingdom.
