Bahrain: Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Motor Federation (BMF), has been elected Vice President of the F©d©ration Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) for the Middle East and North Africa. His election reflects his long-standing involvement in global motorsport and the strong reputation Bahrain has built within the FIA community.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa expressed his honor in taking on the role and emphasized his commitment to supporting the FIA’s direction under President Mohammed Ben Sulayem, particularly in advancing motorsport development across the region. He is also a member of the FIA World Motor Sport Council, the organisation’s highest rule-making body, and serves on the FIA President’s senior leadership team.
