A Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) delegation led by Chief Executive Officer Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad visited a number of vital projects which are financed under the Guld Development Programme.
These include mainly Al Fateh Highway development project, one of the maga strategic projects, the junction between Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway and Shaikh Isa bin Salman Highway (Saar Interchange), Al Ramli Housing project and Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al Khalifa Dialysis Centre in Riffa.
The meeting was attended by Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf commended the Saudi support to vital projects which contribute to furthering development in the Kingdom of Bahrain, reflecting strategic partnership between the two countries.
Housing Minister Basem bin Yacoub Al Hamer also commended the SFD delegation’s visit, hailing strong bilateral relations binding the two countries.
The Saudi Fund for Development is financing the first phase of Khalifa Town, which features 1560 units, in adding to 1261 units in the Al Ramli project.
