Secretary General of NATO Receives Credentials of Bahrain’s Mission Head in Brussels


Brussels: Mark Rutte, Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), received the credentials of Dr. Mohammed Ali Behzad as Head of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Mission to NATO in Brussels. Dr. Behzad conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the Secretary General of NATO.



According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Behzad also delivered His Majesty the King’s response to the Secretary General’s letter, which expressed strong condemnation of the Iranian aggression against Bahrain and showed solidarity with the Kingdom.



On his part, the Secretary General of NATO sent his greetings to His Majesty the King, and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He affirmed the Alliance’s commitment to continue constructive cooperation with Bahrain, supporting joint efforts to enhance security, peace, and stability in the region and globally.



Dr. Behzad expressed the Kingdom’s pride in its bilateral partnership with NATO, affirming Bahrain’s commitment to further developing cooperation and coordination in a manner that serves mutual interests.
