SCYS Secretary General Stresses the Importance of Investing in Youth Potential on Gulf Youth Day

Manama: Aymen bin Tawfiq Almoayyed, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), highlighted the strategic significance of Gulf Youth Day, emphasizing the critical role of youth as key drivers of development and essential contributors to shaping the future. He noted that this occasion underscores the commitment to strengthening their role in national and regional progress through continued investment in their abilities and skills.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Almoayyed praised the unwavering support for Bahrain's youth sector, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. This support has laid a strong foundation for youth empowerment, driven by innovation and built on promising opportunities.

Almoayyed commended the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, for advancing youth-focused initiatives and fostering national competencies capable of translating strategic visions into measurable outcomes.

He highlighted the achievements of Bahraini youth in various sectors, including space sciences, as evidence of their capacity to lead. He noted their contributions to satellite development and scientific missions as a result of long-term vision and unwavering support.

Almoayyed emphasized that empowering the youth is a fundamental pillar of joint Gulf cooperation, aimed at promoting knowledge exchange, skill development, and societal cohesion.
