SCYS Secretary General Advocates for Youth Investment on Arab Youth Day

Manama: Ayman bin Tawfiq Al Moayyed, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), emphasized the significance of Arab Youth Day, celebrated annually on July 5, as a moment to acknowledge the essential role of youth in national development. This occasion serves to honor the dynamic potential of Bahraini and Arab youth who have consistently demonstrated their ability to drive positive change and lead future advancements.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Moayyed stated that youth in the Kingdom receive robust support from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. His Majesty views the empowerment and preparation of Bahraini youth as vital national priorities, recognizing them as a dependable national asset.

Al Moayyed also acknowledged the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who has integrated youth development into the core of the government's agenda. This includes initiatives to enable youth, enhance their skills, and foster an environment that supports innovation and leadership.

Furthermore, Al Moayyed highlighted the vision of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who prioritizes continuous support and empowerment of youth. This approach underscores a belief in young people as the nation's most valuable resource and a key driver of progress, with investments in their potential being crucial for Bahrain's future prosperity.
