SCW Hosts Royal Police Academy Delegation to Highlight Bahraini Women’s Contributions

Manama: The General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) welcomed a delegation from the Royal Police Academy, featuring cadets from the academy's bachelor's programme. This visit is part of an ongoing collaboration aimed at acquainting students with the SCW's role and the significant contributions of Bahraini women to the nation's development.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the visit included a documentary film that showcased the pioneering contributions of Bahraini women in education and their early role in national progress. Additionally, the cadets attended a presentation on the Council's history, its mandate, and the newly approved National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women (2025 - 2026).

The delegation received information on key initiatives such as the Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Award for the Advancement of Bahraini Women, the Imtiyaz Initiative for Young Bahraini Entrepreneurs, and the Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Salman Al Khalifa Award for Voluntary Youth Work. The visit also highlighted activities like Bahraini Women's Day and the efforts of the Council's youth committee.

The meeting underscored the SCW's international engagement through reporting, treaty implementation, and partnerships on both regional and global levels.
