SCIA President Discusses Mosque Projects with Mohammed Al Bassam

Manama: Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA), received Mohammed Abdulrahman Al Bassam. The meeting focused on the progress of an initiative to construct a mosque with comprehensive facilities and an endowment complex in Madinat Hamad, along with another mosque in North Riffa.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed acknowledged the charitable contributions of the Al Bassam family, with particular emphasis on the late Abdulaziz Ali Al Bassam's family's efforts. He also praised Mohammed Al Bassam for his active involvement and dedication to ensuring the successful implementation of these projects.

The planned mosque in Madinat Hamad will occupy a plot of land measuring 10,515.2 square metres. Meanwhile, the mosque in North Riffa will be built on a plot of 8,810 square metres.
