SCH Chairman Highlights Role of Graduates in Advancing Health Sector

Manama: Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Health (SCH), engaged with graduates from national health programmes for 2025-2026 through a videoconference. This meeting coincided with World Health Day, celebrated under the theme "Together for health. Stand with science." Jaleela bint Al Sayyid Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, was also in attendance.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla emphasized the strategic significance of investing in qualified national cadres for the future of the health sector. He highlighted that the results of training and qualification programmes form a crucial basis for improving the efficiency and sustainability of the healthcare system. The Chairman praised the graduates' academic and professional accomplishments and stressed the need for ongoing support for scientific research and innovation to boost competitiveness and enhance the quality of health services.

Minister Hassan lauded the dedication and contributions of national talents, acknowledging their essential role in enhancing the health sector's readiness and strengthening its capacity to tackle various challenges. She reaffirmed the ministry's unwavering commitment to initiatives that support continuous education and scientific research, aimed at developing and improving healthcare services in accordance with best practices.
