Manama: The General Directorate of Passports has announced that as of Saturday, May 24, a total of 961,903 pilgrims have arrived in Saudi Arabia for the Hajj season 1446 AH. This influx of pilgrims has been facilitated through various entry points, including air, land, and seaports.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the directorate detailed that 912,598 pilgrims arrived via airports, while 45,028 entered through land crossings, and 4,277 arrived by sea. The directorate has emphasized its dedication to ensuring efficient entry procedures for the pilgrims by equipping all international entry points with advanced technology and deploying highly trained, multilingual staff to assist with the process.
