Saudi Olympic Committee Vice President Receives Mawrooth Chairman

Riyadh: Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Vice President of the Saudi Olympic Committee and President of both the Arab and Saudi Camel Racing Federations, received Khalifa bin Abdulla Al Qaoud, Chairman of Bahrain Inherited Traditional Sports Committee (Mawrooth). The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Camel Festival 2025, organised by the Saudi Camel Racing Federation at the historic Janadriyah track with participants from 15 countries.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the Arab Camel Racing Federation and Mawrooth, advancing camel racing, and exchanging expertise in race organisation and management. Al Qaoud commended the Arab Camel Racing Federation for supporting the sport and promoting collaboration among Arab nations.

He added that the meeting reinforced the federation's role in promoting cooperation and knowledge exchange while highlighting the strong ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in camel racing.
