Saudi Defence Ministry Reveals Findings of Investigation into Missile Launched from Yemen

Manama: Major General Turki Al Malki, official spokesperson of the Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stated that investigations and technical reviews into a ballistic missile launched from Yemen, which later disappeared near the border, showed that it had been launched toward a regional state.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the spokesperson said the missile failed and deviated from its course due to technical reasons, resulting in inaccurate assessments of its intended target.

He affirmed that the missile fell in an uninhabited area near the Saudi-Yemeni border without causing any damage.
