Riyadh: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and President Donald Trump of the United States co-chaired the Saudi-US Summit at the Royal Court in Al Yamamah Palace in Riyadh. According to Bahrain News Agency, the summit reviewed bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and the US, as well as coordination efforts to enhance the strategic partnership between the two countries in various domains. Both sides also discussed regional and international developments, issues of mutual interest, and efforts to promote security and stability. Following the summit, HRH the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and the US President signed the Strategic Economic Partnership between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of the United States of America. They also witnessed the exchange and announcement of several bilateral agreements and memoranda of understanding, including a memorandum of understanding be tween the Ministry of Energy of Saudi Arabia and the US Department of Energy for cooperation in the field of energy. Additionally, a memorandum of intent between the Ministry of Defence of Saudi Arabia and the US Department of Defense regarding the modernization and development of the Saudi Armed Forces was signed. Agreements in the fields of mining, mineral resources, judicial cooperation, and space exploration were also announced. Other agreements included a memorandum of understanding for judicial cooperation, an executive agreement for the Space Weather CubeSat project, and a protocol of amendment to the air transport agreement. Cooperation agreements involving medical research and cultural institutions such as the Smithsonian Institution were also established.
