Accra:Saudi Arabia has secured its position as the leading exporter of dates by value for the fourth consecutive year. Exports in 2025 amounted to SAR 1.938 billion, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
According to Bahrain News Agency, data from the International Trade Centre indicates that Saudi dates reach approximately 125 countries worldwide.
Ahmed Al Mousa, CEO of the National Center for Palms and Dates, credits this achievement to the ongoing support for the sector and effective collaboration between government entities, private enterprises, and industry partners, which has improved supply chains and export efficiency.
The nation boasts over 37 million palm trees, with annual date production surpassing 1.9 million tonnes.
