Saudi Arabia and Trkiye Forge Partnership with New Auditing MoU

Riyadh: The General Court of Audit (GCA) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Trkiye have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing cooperation in accounting, auditing, and professional development. This agreement demonstrates both countries' commitment to building partnerships and exchanging expertise.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the MoU outlines the collaboration between the two Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) in areas such as financial, compliance, and performance auditing. It also emphasizes exchanging expertise and building professional capacities. The agreement includes cooperation in research and advisory projects, as well as the organisation of joint meetings, conferences, and training programmes on topics of mutual interest.

This partnership is part of the activities under the International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) and the Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI), to which both countries belong. Following the signing, a bilateral meeting was held with specialists from each SAI to discuss areas of joint work and methods to align their approaches on relevant topics.
