Saudi and Kuwait Ministers Discuss Enhanced Security Cooperation


Riyadh: Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Interior of Saudi Arabia, recently held an official meeting with Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al Sabah, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Kuwait. The session focused on the historical ties and evolving developments in security cooperation between their respective ministries.



According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting addressed various issues, including the exchange of information and expertise, efforts to combat organized crime, and initiatives to strengthen the security training system. Both parties discussed the development of human capacities and the adoption of the latest security technologies and systems. Additionally, they deliberated on improving coordination in border security to enhance joint monitoring and ensure the safety and stability of both nations.



The ministers praised the work of the Military and Security Coordination Committee, a component of the Saudi-Kuwaiti Coordination Council. They emphasized their commitment to advancing joint security cooperation to align with the aspirations of their respective leaderships. Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud also reviewed a presentation highlighting the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior’s efforts to bolster security, combat crime, and implement modern technological systems within its departments.
