Tunis:The Royal Humanitarian Foundation has introduced a charter consisting of 43 principles aimed at enhancing family stability and cohesion. This charter, which offers practical recommendations, was developed during a family forum organized by the foundation with the participation of 250 specialists and representatives from the Kingdom of Bahrain and Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the charter's recommendations focus on five key areas identity and values, family communication, responsible technology use, psychological support, and family cohesion. Specific suggestions include setting aside screen-free family time, promoting open communication with children, sharing household responsibilities, constructively resolving disagreements, and providing emotional support during challenging times.
The charter also highlights the importance of religious and moral values, national identity, positive parenting, balanced technology use, and seeking professional support when necessary. The foundation envisions the charter serving as a practical guide for families and organizations looking to develop initiatives that strengthen family relationships and wellbeing.
