Manama: The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) issued its 2025 annual report, outlining its programmes and achievements in humanitarian work, orphan and widow care, and community empowerment across the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Ibrahim Delhan Al Doseri, Acting Assistant Secretary-General of RHF, emphasized the outcomes as a testament to the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Honorary President of the Foundation, and the ongoing backing of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He further noted the guidance of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of RHF. The initiatives are strategically aligned to invest in people and enhance their quality of life.
The report revealed that in 2025, RHF sponsored 10,857 orphans and widows, raising the total number of beneficiaries since the Foundation's inception to 31,794. It also distributed 2,458 school bags and executed 180 programmes and events benefiting 6,878 participants. In addition, 76 students received scholarships and academic grants.
In family counselling, RHF provided specialized programmes benefiting 490 individuals. Furthermore, 4,480 beneficiaries received humanitarian assistance, including living, medical, marriage, debt relief, and educational support.
In the healthcare domain, RHF supplied 86 insulin pumps for children and conducted 16 cochlear implant surgeries, alongside offering integrated medical services to hundreds of individuals.
On the economic empowerment front, the Natij Khair Bahrain Centre produced 2,765 products and carried out 25 training programmes benefiting 397 participants. The centre also prepared over 20,450 Iftar meals during Ramadan, supporting productive families and encouraging economic participation.
The report also underscored RHF's institutional performance, highlighting its achievement of the Gold Category classification under the Government Service Centres Evaluation Programme and several local and international awards. It noted the expansion of community engagement through 55 partnerships with diverse entities.
RHF maintained its humanitarian relief efforts beyond Bahrain, providing aid to affected areas, particularly the Gaza Strip, and broadened its media outreach through awareness initiatives and programmes showcasing humanitarian work.
The Foundation remains committed to developing its programmes and services in alignment with national priorities and supporting various societal segments.
