Royal Humanitarian Foundation and Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation Discuss Support for Gaza

Amman: A delegation from the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, led by Acting Secretary General Ibrahim Dalhan Al Dossary, visited the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation's headquarters to explore ways to enhance cooperation in supporting Gaza.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the delegation met with the Organisation's Secretary-General, Dr. Hussein Al Shibli, to discuss future plans and joint humanitarian and development projects. The focus was on supporting Gaza's people through direct relief and empowerment projects, aimed at improving self-reliance and livelihoods. Sustainable projects with tangible impacts were also discussed.

The discussions included cooperation in securing medical treatment for those from Gaza arriving in Jordan, ensuring healthcare service continuity. Support for educational programmes within Gaza and for Gaza students in Jordan was also on the agenda, aiming to preserve educational rights amid challenging circumstances.

Both parties highlighted the need to unify efforts and integrate expertise to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of their interventions, responding to the increasing humanitarian needs in the Gaza Strip. The meeting was also attended by Ammar Sami Qambar, Assistant Secretary General for Social Care at the Royal Humanitarian Foundation.
