Royal Endurance Team wins FEI Endurance World Championship for Young Riders and Juniors

With the follow-up of HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Royal Endurance Team Captain, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Royal Endurance Team riders were officially crowned as winners of the FEI Endurance World Championship for Young Riders and Juniors, held in Castelsagrat, with the participation of 70 jockeys from various countries.

The International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI) and the organising committee of the event hosted a ceremony to honour the Royal Endurance Team, the winners of the championship at the team level. The team comprised riders Isa Hameed Al Enezi, and Abdulla Hassan Al-Ruwaie, from Team Bahrain Victorious, Sultan Abdulaziz Al Romaihi and Jaber Badr, from the Al-Zaieem team, and Hamad Ali Hassan, from the Al-Nasser team.

Bahrain clinched the first place at the team level, followed by France and Italy.

Jockey Isa Al-Enerzi, who grabbed the bronze medal after finishing third, was also crowned, along with the UAE riders, the winners of the first and second places at the individual level.

The Royal Endurance Team also clinched the Best Horse Status, following the success of Isa Al Anezi’s horse, Ermine Dartagnan, in finishing the race in a good health condition.

Royal Endurance Team Director, Dr. Khalid Ahmed Hassan, attributed the team’s successes to the constant support accorded to it by HH Shaikh Nasser.

He affirmed that the team’s recent achievements will motivate its distinguished riders to claim more victories in the upcoming competitions.

The royal Endurance Team jockeys expressed their utmost joy over their success in winning the FEI Endurance World Championship for Young Riders andand Juniors at the team level, noting that the exploit is the fruitful outcome of HH Shaikh Nasser’s follow-up and interest.
