Royal Endurance Team Secures Second Place at Knights Cup in AlUla

Manama: The Royal Endurance Team completed its participation in the Al Muatadil Endurance Village tournament, part of the Knights Cup Endurance Championship 2026 held in AlUla, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with strong international competition from top riders.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Royal Endurance Team jockey Mohammed Abdulhamid Al Hashemi finished second in the 160km race, which saw intense competition, especially with riders from the United Arab Emirates. The UAE jockey Saif Ahmed Mohammed Al Mazrouei won first place, while the UAE jockey Hamad Obaid Al Kaabi finished third. The race was fast and tactically demanding, with challenging terrain.

Dr. Khalid Ahmed Hassan, Director General of the Royal Stables and the Royal Endurance Team, said the participation was part of the team's preparation and development programme. He noted that the team benefited from the high level of competition and the varied routes and terrain.
