RMS Commander Receives Newly Appointed GHC Disease Prevention and Control CEO

Manama: Brigadier Dr. Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Medical Services (RMS), received Colonel Dr. Manaf Al Qahtani on the occasion of his retirement from the RMS. The Commander of the RMS commended the dedicated efforts made by Dr. Al Qahtani throughout his service, wishing him continued success in his future endeavours.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting also reviewed details of Dr. Al Qahtani's new position as Chief Executive Officer of Disease Prevention and Control at the General Secretariat of the Gulf Health Council. He was congratulated on this appointment, which reflects the high standing and competence of Bahraini professionals in leading regional and international institutions.

For his part, Dr. Al Qahtani affirmed pride in his years of service at the RMS and his commitment to continue contributing through his new role in a manner that supports the aspirations of Gulf Cooperation Council states in health and preventive domains.
