Riyadh:The Saudi Ministry of Energy is set to host a series of significant international and regional energy meetings and events in Riyadh from October 11 to 15, 2026. These gatherings will bring together energy ministers, industry CEOs, heads of international organizations, and experts from around the world for a week of high-level energy dialogue and engagement.
According to Bahrain News Agency, more than 70 ministers, over 300 CEOs and senior executives, along with leaders from more than 25 international energy organizations and institutions, have confirmed their participation. This underscores the importance of the discussions and the substantial international involvement expected.
The 25th WPC Energy Congress will be the focal point of a broader schedule of international and Arab ministerial meetings and other energy events. These gatherings will attract senior government and industry figures globally, positioning Riyadh at the heart of global energy discussions on policy, investment, and innovation throughout the week.
The Kingdom will host the 25th WPC Energy Congress under the theme "Pathways to an Energy Future for All." This congress will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, investors, and technology executives to address key issues shaping the future of energy, including supply security and reliability, global markets and investment, technological innovation, sustainability, and workforce development.
The events will commence on October 11 with Saudi Arabia hosting the 17th International Energy Forum Ministerial Meeting (IEF17). Participants, including energy ministers, industry leaders, and international organization heads, will discuss energy security, market stability, and investment, as well as enhancing cooperation between energy-producing and consuming countries.
The Ministry of Energy will also host the 17th Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM17) and the 11th Mission Innovation Ministerial (MI-11) from October 11 to 13. These meetings will gather ministers and senior officials from major economies, business leaders, and research institutions, focusing on accelerating the development and deployment of energy technologies and solutions.
Additionally, Riyadh will host the 16th Session of the Arab Ministerial Council for Electricity, along with specialized Arab meetings, high-level workshops, and events that will cover regional cooperation, investment, and advanced technologies.
