Riyadh Book Fair 2025 Gathers Over 2,000 Publishers Under “Riyadh Reads” Theme


Riyadh: The Riyadh International Book Fair 2025 has opened its doors, bringing together over 2,000 local and international publishing houses and agencies from more than 25 countries under one roof. The event also welcomes the participation of Saudi, Arab, and international cultural institutions and organizations under the theme “Riyadh Reads.”



According to Bahrain News Agency, the fair is held at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University and honors the Republic of Uzbekistan as this year’s Guest of Honour, highlighting its cultural, artistic, and historical heritage through performances featuring Uzbek cultural figures and creators.



The fair’s cultural program includes over 200 intellectual and dialogue-driven events such as seminars, panel discussions, and workshops. There are also dedicated activities for children and book-signing sessions that allow visitors to meet their favorite authors.



This year’s edition features a revamped business zone with more than 30 entities participating, reaffirming its role in supporting the publishing industry, promoting authors’ rights, and fostering local and international partnerships.
