RHF Secretary General Praises Bahraini Women’s Humanitarian Efforts

Manama: On the occasion of Bahraini Women's Day, celebrated this year under the theme "Bahraini Women: Distinction, Creativity, Innovation," the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) organised a celebration honouring its female employees for their efforts and contributions to humanitarian and developmental initiatives. Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Secretary General of RHF, extended congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, for her leadership in advancing the status of Bahraini women across all sectors.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa highlighted that the achievements of Bahraini women under the leadership of His Majesty the King reflect a commitment to empowering women and enhancing their role in national development. He commended the Supreme Council for Women, led by HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim, for establishing a model recognised locally, regionally, and internationally.

Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa added that Bahraini women have exemplified dedication to humanitarian work, whether supporting orphans, widows, and families in need, or leading development and relief projects in Bahrain and abroad. He expressed pride in the RHF's female staff and their contributions.

Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa also noted that the RHF has granted women a central role in its development strategy, enabling them to assume leadership positions and participate in designing and implementing programmes, in line with the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women and the Kingdom's sustainable development goals.
