Awali: As part of its efforts to empower and prepare its students for emergencies, the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), in cooperation with the She Medic First Aid Training Center, organised a specialised training course titled Basic Disaster Life Support, accredited by the American Academy of Pediatrics. The course was held from August 19-21 at the BAPCO Club in Awali.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the course targeted Foundation students aged over 16, aiming to equip them with basic first aid and disaster response skills to enhance their health awareness and readiness to act appropriately in emergencies.
Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Secretary General of the RHF, and Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery, Chief Executive Officer of Bapco Refining, presented certificates to the participants. The students were awarded accredited licences from the American Academy of Pediatrics after successfully completing the course requirements.
This course is part of the Foundation's annual summer training and development programmes, which aim to develop life and practical skills and empower students with modern knowledge tools.
