Vienna: Ebrahim Dalhan Aldoseri, Acting Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), and Gerd Mller, Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), have signed a cooperation agreement at the United Nations headquarters in Vienna. This agreement is aimed at bolstering cooperation in areas of mutual interest, focusing on sustainable development initiatives and humanitarian efforts.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the signing took place during a UNIDO-organized meeting in Vienna, Austria, where participants deliberated on supporting rehabilitation and economic recovery programs in the State of Palestine, the Syrian Arab Republic, and the Republic of the Sudan. The agreement underscores a mutual commitment to enhancing cooperation and broadening their partnership for implementing initiatives that promote humanitarian and development goals.
The collaboration is designed to aid humanitarian-driven economic recovery, restore sustainable livelihoods, rehabilitate productive sectors, and empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in communities affected by crises. It aims to utilize the expertise, capabilities, and resources of both organizations in alignment with their mandates and strategic priorities, ensuring a sustained positive impact on the targeted communities.
