Manama: The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Make-A-Wish Foundation UAE to fulfil the wishes of children aged 3 to 18 who are undergoing treatment for critical health conditions in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This partnership is a testament to the strong ties between Bahrain and the UAE and underscores the commitment to humanitarian efforts.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the MoU was signed by Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary-General of the RHF, and Hani Al Zubaidi, CEO of Make-A-Wish Foundation UAE. The agreement outlines that RHF will provide Make-A-Wish UAE with lists of eligible children and nominate staff members to volunteer with the foundation's team. These volunteers will engage in direct communication, prepare necessary files, coordinate with supervising doctors, and accompany children throughout the wish-fulfilment process, adhering to the foundation's policies and procedures.
The MoU highlights the spirit of cooperation and joint action between the two organisations, aiming to bring hope and alleviate the suffering of children by making their long-held wishes come true during challenging times.
