Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives and Chair of the Executive Committee of the Parliamentary Division, and Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, received Sheikh Khalid bin Hilal Al Mawali, Chairman of the Shura Council of the Sultanate of Oman, along with his delegation. They arrived in Bahrain to participate in the 19th periodic meeting of the leaders of Shura, Representatives, National, and Ummah Councils of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, an event hosted by Bahrain from November 11 to 13.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Speaker Al Musallam and Chairman Al Saleh expressed a warm welcome to the Omani delegation, emphasizing the enduring ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Oman. These relations are bolstered by the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman.
Al Mawali praised Bahrain's dedication to fostering GCC cooperation and acknowledged its significant role in hosting parliamentary meetings, reflecting the commitment of GCC countries to enhance regional collaboration.
